Review: I was lucky enough to snag tickets to see Black Swan at the Toronto International Film Festival. GOOD: Acting Natalie Portman was perfection - definitely Oscar worthy performance. Mila Kuniss outcome was surprising in a good way, it's clear that she stepped out of the area including ; ægindi her. The film music was great. Sure, much of it was taken out of Swan Lake, but I loved that they were able to incorporate music throughout the movie and not just the ballet scenes. Sure, it was beautifully shot and the plot was amazing - I was drawn in from beginning to end. The audience got to see a new side of ballet / theater that does not often appear in popular movies - fight performer faces undertake and complete functions. The struggle between good and evil out in a methodical and exciting ways. BAD: Many parts of this movie felt like it had a horror trip. Some parts definitely made me jump or crawl (which I did not expect). The film was also an emotional roller coaster, which was fine at first, but this emotional roller coaster kind of drag on to the point that it almost Fighter NDEs as it was too much. I just think it could have been trimmed down a notch. I thought that most of the movie was wonderful, and I recommend it.
