Review: Remember, remember the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot. Ive never read a graphic novel, but I do not think you need to read to appreciate the film. I saw the movie last night at the world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Although a little difficult in the middle (one side seems to drag a little), but it was a great experience. The story is so affordable that I have a serious emotional for a lot of parts. Weaving did an excellent job with the mysterious V protagonist, creating a poetic character, intelligent, compassionate and not cruel. Portman seems to always surprise me, but with her Star Wars character. He describes the great variety of emotions and really changed throughout the film. This is one of those films that really stick in your head long after you watch though ... and continue to mix and grow.
