Review: Of course, this movie has a ton of Hype and film can live up to all this .... yada yada yada. Even allowing that this film is a little disappointing. This film proves that he is not just special FX, which made Star Wars fun to watch. If George Lucas was so excited about what he can do with CGI effects, but he forgot the original trilogy so great that makes writing and characters. This is not a bad movie, but the problem is, many.-many people have this film forgiven for being lackluster as they say it is only the first in another trilogy and it's just set up everything to follow. Wrong wrong wrong, this film needs his own movie in the first place, if the other three movies were. He had a good character and some interesting history there .... It didnt.-conflict in this story revolves around a commercial dispute and the fate of the planet Naboo. Does anyone really care about it? The details of the dispute are somewhat vague and revealing true not generate enough interest for us to root for a particular country. The main conflict in terms of Darth Sideous and his rise is far away in the background. We do not even know why Darth Maul hate Jedis much .... He alone. Maybe Lucas wanted to be Darth Maul, Boba Fett bit like (and still mysterious). He worked with Boba Fett, because he was only a supporting character, not a great villain. This movie is not really clear villain. I wish someone would have the courage and just say that Lucas base. No one disgusting story seems particularly strong in this movie. Qui-Gon is really the only character who can be true even if it is quite distant. The Queen acts as a figure in many of her scenes (and looks like one). Obi-Wan Kenobi wander throughout the film vain and never saying anything interesting. The characters never seem to talk about something other than the plot (other than in the first film). C3PO and R2-D2 is pretty useless. Jedi Council comes across as cold and buracratic. I will never understand why they wrote Annakin as a child elementary school in this movie. He was a teenager. His scenes with the queen was uncomfortable. Not even discuss other things Jarre Jar.Various ... The midochlorians thing seems to be just a bit tacked on. The humor falls flat, unless you have a very small child. Annakin destroy merchant ship at the end and safves all basically random! ILM and George Lucas looks so happy with his new toys CGI they spend 95% of their time improving them. To be honest, I thought FX in Return of the Jedi is sharper, more three-dimensional and less animated. Nothing all that memorable here seems to happen. This movie can never be as good as the hype, but this could easily be much better than that. I waited so long for this movie, but I first saw this film, I was really bored in the middle of it.there good moments. The Pod race is fun as a light saber battle at the end. There are some very good special effects at all. Hopefully Lucas just had writer's block when he wrote this. Maybe you remember the other movies, and time for Episode II does. Although he seems to have the title of this mess already.
